Playing, producing and making house music since 1990, fusing all styles, The Reverend has an international reputation and evangelical following. He recently launched Alabama 3 Sound System with dubstep maestro The Wizard and vocalist Ivory, to open the Dance Tent in the Glade Field at Glastonbury 2014.
The Reverend has played and influenced many of the world’s leading house techno tech house DJs, most recently Mash & Nomski (Burn Glasgow), Jack Eye Jones, and Joe McKechnie (Afro Acid). He produces and mixes artists including China White, Pussy Power Productions, John T and Greg Thomas.
The Very Reverend D. Wayne Love is a founding member of Alabama 3, with 12 albums and 16 hit singles to their credit including ‘Woke Up This Morning’ (the theme tune to HBO’s internationally acclaimed TV series The Sopranos). Their most recent album The Men From W.O.M.B.L.E toured in 2013 to sell out audiences at venues across the UK including 02 Academy Glasgow, and MAMA Forum in London.
A lifelong lover of Bertolt Brecht, D. Wayne is converting The Threepenny Opera to acid techno tracks for live performances later in 2014.
With his DJ sets regularly featured on Pure Radio, Amsterdam, and with airplay worldwide for Alabama 3, The Reverend D. Wayne Love has a devoted fan base. He broadcasts weekly on Jamm Radio.
